Terminus

Terminus is a photographic project which documents everyday life during the phasing out of the over 40 year old Tyne and Wear Metro fleet.

Whether during the daily commute, taking the kids out or going to the match, many North East people use the metro on their route in and out of the region's towns and cities, through the countryside or along the coast. These photographs, generally made in a candid style, show life as it happens, documenting a key time in the North East's redevelopment between 2024 and 2026.
